Preschool Ballet
2-3 years old
Introduce your little dancer to the beautiful art of ballet! This class will enhance your child's coordination, balance, and flexibility with the teaching of basic ballet positions, steps, and terminology through standing barre work and simple center floor exercises. Your child will also enjoy simple and fun exercises in creative dance and music exploration.
Intro to Tap & Ballet Combo
4-6 years old
This is a perfect combination class for young dancers. Ballet training promotes coordination, balance, correct body alignment and grace. Tap dancing develops a keen sense of rhythm, timing, and musical awareness. This class is a fun and well-rounded introduction to dance for young students.
Ballet 1
7-9 years old
Come enjoy the excitement and beauty of classical ballet! This class will focus on ballet terminology and technique through the execution of barre work, center, and across the floor exercises. Your child will have a clear understanding of body alignment, movement quality, carriage of upper body, and flexibility.
Lyrical/Contemporary
10+ years old
Lyrical/contemporary is a fusion of ballet, jazz and modern contemporary, while teaching the dancers to also form an emotional connection to their movements and music. Movements in this class are freer and more expressive while still maintaining proper technique.
Tap 2
10+ years old
Tap class emphasizes rhythm, timing, phrasing, and clarity. Dancers will learn the basic vocabulary of the tap steps, and will explore coordination, single time steps, beginning turns, short combinations, and showmanship.
Jazz 2
10+ years old
The jazz class will focus on learning proper jazz technique. The class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes a warm-up, stretches, isolations, floor work, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations. It is a class to bring high energy!
Hip Hop 1, 2, 3 & Minis
4+ years old
Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, jazz, funk, and sass. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Skills become more advanced between levels.
Acro Gymnastics 1 & 2
Placement needed
A high energy performing art that focuses on strength, stretch, balance and partnering work. Basic tumbling includes backbends, cartwheels, handstands/headstands, rolls, walkovers, handsprings, aerial tricks and more. Skills become more advanced between levels 1 and 2.
Zumba
Adult only
Zumba routines feature easy-to-follow steps and movements that focus on improving cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility. The primary goal of Zumba is to make exercise fun and enjoyable while providing a full-body workout.
Pre Pointe/ Technique
10+ years old
This class is designed to improve the dancer's technical dance skills, abilities, and performance quality. In class, the students will work on pirouettes, coupes, fouettés, a la seconde turns, all types of leaps and proper body posture.
Combo Tap/Jazz
7-9 years old
This combination class perfectly allows students to explore tap and jazz techniques that are taught like timing, rhythm, combinations, and floor work. It is perfect for students who love high energy!
